You think I would have learned last summer how hard it is to write in the summer with the kids home and our routines ruined. But I didn’t because I planned to finish my first draft by August. I think I’ve got it worked out, but it puts the Fantastical Creatures Reality Show right one top of writing the first draft of Vampire Planet. Instead of writing 2,000 words/day, I’ll be writing about 3,000 words/day plus editing 1,000 words. So January and February will be hellish with a slight let up in March.
